Most know the rigors of football; they see the hard hits on television. But what most don't see the hard work that goes in to preparing for the season. The hours spent in the weight room getting the body ready for the abuse it will have to endure. Ryan Barber knows those hours. Ryan knows what it takes to get his body and mind ready for football. Having spent 6 months training with API, he knows that the more you sweat in training the less you sweat in competition. As the starting nose guard/end for Broadneck High School and Captain, Ryan set the bar high for his teammates. As a Bruin, Ryan was named 1st team All-County, and Honorable Mention All Metro. Ryan has committed to Salisbury University, where he will have the opportunity to continue his football career. Ryan said of API's role in his athletic career, "API has definitely helped me for the football season. I was able to excel on and off the field with a better work ethic that I observed from the coaches at API." The entire API staff congratulates Ryan on his success on and off the field and wishes him continued success at Salisbury.
