• Sports Performance Coach

API, Maryland’s Premier Athletic Campus, is looking for a certified and experienced Sports Performance Coach to lead youth athletes in speed, agility, and strength training sessions. Our Sports Performance programs are designed to help athletes of all ages and backgrounds improve the necessary skills to compete at an optimal level. Coaches will work with athletes at the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. This is a part-time position (10-20 hours a week).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Exceedingly high motivation and energy level
  • Strong people skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage a multi-task environment
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Worked with kids between the ages of 9-18

Certification Requirements:

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) - The National Strength and Conditioning Association (must have within six months of hire)
  • Current First Aid/CPR certifications

  • Operations Staff/Customer Service Representative

This part-time position (15-25 hours) is responsible for assisting full-time management in day-to-day operations and customer service, including developing and overseeing sports activities and event management during weeknights and weekends. The primary functions of this position include: providing excellent customer service to patrons, managing the facility schedule, recording client payments in system, and managing court & room rentals, concessions and daily maintenance routines.

ASKA Coach

All-Sport Kids Academy at API is looking to hire part-time  Coaches to work with kids aged 3 to 14. ASKA Coaches are responsible for coaching Birthday Parties, Developmental Classes, Schools Out Camps, and Home School PE Classes.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children aged 3 and older
  • Ability to manage a multi-task environment
  • Passionate about sports
  • Energetic, creative, and outgoing personality
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation
